Made in Corona, California, the Fender American Performer Telecaster Hum boasts all the great craftsmanship and playability you could want from an authentic Fender Tele.

Known for its great resonance, pronounced upper midrange, excellent sustain and sharp attack, Alder has been used for the body.

With its single cutaway, the famous Telecaster body design allows for easy reach of the higher frets which is essential for easily performing guitar solos.

Attached to the body is a Maple neck which has a comfortable modern C profile and super-smooth satin finish making it very fast to play.

Atop the neck is a Maple fretboard which has a modern 9.5 radius with 22 jumbo frets adding to that great playability and making for easy and accurate bends.

Ultra-Versatile Electronics

With a combination of a DoubleTap humbucker and a Yosemite single-coil pickup, the Fender American Performer Telecaster Hum gives you a great range of voices to perform with.

For the neck pickup, the Telecaster Hum has a DoubleTap humbucker which gives you the powerful voice only a humbucking can provide. A push-pull function in the tone knob however allows you to switch this over to a single-coil so you get the best of both worlds.

Whats more, thanks to its unique, patent-applied-for design, the DoubleTap doesnt suffer from the volume loss often found in split-coil pickups.

The Yosemite single-coil pickup is found in the bridge position, giving you rich and expressive tone with wax potting allowing the coil to breathe while keeping feedback under control.

Master Volume and Tone knobs are on hand allowing for further tonal tailoring with a Greasebucket circuitmaking it soyou can roll off the high end without adding unwanted bass, retaining your crisp and clear sound.

High Quality Hardware

On the body of the American Performer Telecaster Hum is a strings-thru-body Tele bridge with its strings-thru design aiding transfer of vibration from the strings to the body. In turn, this enhances sustain.

Up on the headstock, youll find six ClassicGear machine heads that boast a vintage aesthetic while their 18:1 turning ratio provides extremely precise tuning.
